It covers NeuraSoftwares corporate website and our business communications. It does not cover the Lodjx platform, which has its own privacy policy published on lodjx.ca.
Personal information is any information that relates to a natural person and allows that person to be identified, directly or indirectly.

The information we collect
What you give us directly
- Contact form or demo request: name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and the content of your message.
- Newsletter and commercial communications: email address and first name, when you subscribe.
- Exchanges with us: the content of your emails, calls or meetings, and the notes we record about them.
What is collected automatically
As you browse our site, we collect through technological means: your IP address, your browser type and version, your operating system, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, the page that referred you to us, and the identifiers attached to cookies.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information through this site, and it is not directed at minors.
Why we collect it
- To answer your information and demo requests.
- To manage our business relationship with you and follow up on our exchanges.
- To provide support when you ask for it.
- To send you our newsletter and commercial communications, where you have consented.
- To understand how our site is used and improve it.
- To keep our systems secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We collect only the information necessary for these purposes.
Consent and withdrawal
We collect your information with your consent, given freely and on an informed basis, for each of the purposes listed above.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. For the newsletter and our commercial communications, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message. For any other purpose, write to our privacy officer.
Withdrawing your consent is not retroactive, and it may prevent us from providing you with certain services.
Information processed outside Québec
Some of our providers, including our customer relationship platform, our email delivery provider and our host, process or store information outside Québec, notably in Canada and the United States.
These transfers are governed by written agreements setting out confidentiality and security measures, and by encryption of data in transit and at rest.
Information held outside Québec may be subject to the laws of the territory where it is located and may, in certain circumstances, be accessible to the authorities of that territory.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
- Business contacts (CRM)
- For as long as the business relationship stays active or you consent to receive our communications. Contacts with no interaction for more than 36 months are deleted.
- Clients
- For the term of the contract, then 24 months after it ends. Related accounting and tax records are kept for 6 years as required by law.
- Newsletter subscribers
- Until you withdraw your consent.
- Unsubscribe list
- When you unsubscribe, your address is kept on a suppression list for the sole purpose of not contacting you again. It is used for nothing else.
- Support requests
- 36 months after the request is closed.
- Connection logs
- 13 months.
We review our records annually. At the end of these periods, information is securely destroyed or anonymized according to generally accepted best practices.
Security
We put in place security measures that are reasonable given the sensitivity of the information:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
- Access control and access logging.
- Two-factor authentication on our internal systems.
- Least-privilege access.
- Ongoing staff awareness training.
We maintain a register of confidentiality incidents. Where an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned promptly.
Automated decisions and profiling
We make no decision based exclusively on automated processing that would produce legal effects for you. Should that change, we would inform you at the time of the decision, and you could submit your observations to a person able to review it.
Where we use technology that can identify you, locate you or profile you, we tell you and give you the means to turn those functions off.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected.
- Withdraw your consent to its use or disclosure.
- Receive the computerized information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or ask that it be sent to a third party (portability).
- Ask that the dissemination of information about you cease, or that any hyperlink giving access to it be de-indexed, where the conditions set by law are met.
- Obtain information about any decision based exclusively on automated processing and about the main factors that led to it.
To exercise these rights, write to our privacy officer using the details in section 2. We will verify your identity and answer within 30 days of receiving your request. This service is free, apart from reasonable transcription or reproduction fees, which we would tell you about beforehand.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled, or with the answer you received, you can file a complaint with our privacy officer, who will review it and answer you within 30 days.
You may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, whose contact details are available at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. The version in force is always the one published on our site, and the update date appears at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we will inform you by an appropriate means.
